Traversal

What is Traversal?

Traversal is an AI Site Reliability Engineering platform that autonomously diagnoses, remediates and prevents production incidents in complex systems. It builds a Production World Model, a continuously updated causal representation of your production environment, to separate true root causes from coincidental correlations.

Key capabilities of Traversal

• Root cause analysis: traces multi-hop failures across services and dependencies
• Alert triage: filters alerts, with 700+ high-severity alerts eliminated at PepsiCo
• Self-healing automation: turns diagnosis into remediation actions
• Production support: natural language access to live production state
• Pre-deployment risk: flags breaking changes before deploy, including in GitHub PRs
• BYOC and BYOM: bring your own cloud and model

How Traversal works

Traversal connects to your existing observability stack without agents or sidecars and deploys read-only by default. It builds the world model from telemetry and code context, investigates incidents using causal reasoning and proposes or triggers remediation.

Who uses Traversal?

SRE and platform engineering teams use Traversal. The vendor reports 38% MTTR reduction at DigitalOcean, 70% at Cloudways and 32% MTTR reduction with 82% RCA accuracy at a Fortune 100 financial services firm.
