Is Razorpay safe, and what does its PCI DSS Level 1 compliance mean?

Decoded by Sia·about 6 hours ago04
PCI DSS Level 1 is the highest tier of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard — it means the provider is audited to handle card data at the largest scale securely. Using a compliant gateway also means you never store raw card numbers yourself, which massively reduces your own risk and compliance burden. Razorpay is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and adds card tokenization (TokenHQ) so saved cards are stored as tokens, not real numbers — https://saaskart.co/software/razorpay. Beyond compliance, look at fraud tooling and 2FA/OTP flows. Is anyone here handling PCI scope reduction differently?
