Tracelight

What is Tracelight?

Tracelight is an AI agent for spreadsheet modeling and financial analysis, aimed at consulting and finance firms. You describe the analysis in a prompt and it constructs, formats and checks the model.

Key capabilities of Tracelight

• Spreadsheet modeling: Builds models from prompts such as an operating model from trial balances.
• Model review: Error detection with full audit trails and source citations.
• Interactive apps: Scenario analysis, sensitivity tests and live dashboards from models.
• Project workspace: Chats, files, versions and analysis artifacts in one place.
• Auditability: Maintains accuracy and audit trails.
• Enterprise security: SOC 2 Type II, SAML 2.0 SSO and data residency options.

How Tracelight works

You enter a prompt describing the analysis, for example building an operating model from new trial balances, and the agent builds the model, formatting and calculations while keeping an audit trail. A review mode checks models for errors with source citations. The vendor reports 75% cell-level accuracy against 68% and 66% for competitors on its own comparison.
