TestGorilla is a pre-employment testing platform that helps companies screen candidates on skills, cognitive ability, and personality rather than relying on resumes alone. Employers assemble assessments from a library of hundreds of scientifically validated tests - covering role-specific skills, coding, language, aptitude, and culture-add - and send them to candidates as part of a structured, bias-reducing hiring process.

The platform is built around skills-based hiring: instead of screening by degree or pedigree, teams evaluate what candidates can actually do. Assessments combine multiple test types with custom questions, one-way video responses, and automatic scoring, giving recruiters a ranked, comparable view of applicants before investing in interviews.

TestGorilla uses a credit-based model on annual plans, with a free tier, a Core plan for standard testing, and a Plus plan that adds AI video interviews, custom tests, and ATS integrations. Monthly pay-as-you-go is no longer offered to new customers, so paid usage requires an annual commitment.
