SOLIDWORKS eDrawings is a design communication and collaboration tool for viewing, reviewing and sharing 2D and 3D CAD designs. It uses a lightweight, shareable file format and a dedicated viewer so suppliers, customers and design teams can inspect designs and give feedback without needing the original CAD software.
eDrawings is used by manufacturers, purchasing departments, suppliers, makers and students who need to look at CAD data without a full CAD seat. Design teams use it to send review packages to customers and suppliers and to reduce errors by sharing a viewable format that can protect IP.
eDrawings Viewer is free for basic viewing and interrogation. eDrawings Professional is a paid upgrade with AR and VR functionality, and eDrawings Publisher serves multi-CAD environments. Exact prices for the paid editions are not listed on the page reviewed.
