1Password is a password manager that stores your passwords, passkeys, credit cards, and sensitive documents in end-to-end encrypted vaults, then autofills them across devices and browsers. For individuals and families it removes the burden of remembering (or reusing) passwords; for businesses it is increasingly an identity and access security tool that reduces one of the most common causes of breaches — weak and reused credentials.
Beyond personal password storage, 1Password has expanded into business security: secure sharing, provisioning, and admin controls; Watchtower to flag weak, reused, or breached passwords; passkey support for passwordless login; developer secrets management; and Extended Access Management to secure sign-ins from unmanaged devices. Its security model is built on a combination of your account password and a Secret Key, so data stays encrypted and unreadable even to 1Password.
