Reflect

What is Reflect?

Reflect is a networked note-taking app that links ideas through backlinks and adds an AI assistant. Notes are end-to-end encrypted and sync across devices.

Key capabilities of Reflect

• Backlinked notes: Bidirectional links connect related notes into a graph.
• AI assistant: Answers questions, outlines and summarizes against your notes.
• Voice transcription: Turns spoken notes into text.
• End-to-end encryption: Notes are encrypted so the vendor cannot read them.
• Daily notes: A dated page for capturing each day.
• Cross-device sync: Works on web, iOS and desktop.

How Reflect works

You write notes and link them with backlinks. The AI assistant, which third-party reviews say uses GPT-4 and Whisper for transcription, can summarize meetings, draft outlines and chat with your notes. Everything syncs across web, iOS and desktop under end-to-end encryption.

Who uses Reflect?

Reflect is used by knowledge workers, writers and researchers who want connected notes without heavy setup. It is built for individuals rather than large teams.

Reflect pricing

Third-party sources report a single plan of about $10 per month billed annually that includes all features, sync and AI, with no free tier beyond a trial. Confirm exact amounts on the vendor site.

Reflect alternatives

Alternatives include Obsidian, a local-first markdown note app with plugins, Capacities, which organizes notes as typed objects, and Goodnotes, which focuses on handwriting.
