Cloud development platform for training and serving AI with GPU Studios
Updated
Lightning AI is the company behind PyTorch Lightning and a cloud platform for building, training and serving AI. Users work in persistent Studios that attach CPUs and GPUs, with usage billed from a pool of credits.
You open a Studio, pick CPU or GPU hardware, and develop and train models in a cloud environment that keeps your files and setup. Compute is billed per second from credits, with free credits expiring monthly and purchased credits expiring after 12 months, per third-party sources.
ML engineers, researchers and teams building AI use it, especially those already on PyTorch Lightning. Teams and Enterprise add shared credits, bulk seat discounts and access controls. The vendor pricing page did not render for us, so these details come from third-party coverage.
Third-party sources report Free with about 15 monthly credits, Pro at $20 a month, Teams at $119 per user a month, and custom Enterprise. GPU rates range from about $0.19 an hour for a T4 to $6.53 for an H200. Verify on Lightning AI.
Alternatives include Vast.ai for GPU marketplace rental, DeepInfra for hosted inference, fal for generative media inference, Hyperbolic for GPU compute, and Nebius for AI cloud infrastructure.
