Bigjpg

What is Bigjpg?

Bigjpg is an AI image enlargement service that uses deep convolutional neural networks. It reconstructs lines, colors and fine details instead of simply stretching pixels, and works best on anime and illustrations.

Key capabilities of Bigjpg

• Up to 16x enlargement: paid plans scale images up to 16x
• Noise reduction: five levels: None, Low, Medium, High and Highest
• Anime and illustration focus: tuned for line art and flat color
• Photo support: regular photos are also supported
• Large uploads: up to 50MB on paid plans, 5MB on free
• REST API: paid members can upload images, create tasks and query results

How Bigjpg works

You upload an image, pick the enlargement factor and a noise reduction level, and the neural network redraws the image at the larger size. Free users get a slower queue, while paid plans use priority processing. API users create tasks and poll for results in JSON.

Who uses Bigjpg?

Bigjpg is used by illustrators and anime fans who want larger wallpapers, prints or cleaner scans of artwork.

Bigjpg pricing

Bigjpg lists a Free tier with 20 images per month at up to 4x, Basic at $6 for 2 months with 500 images, Standard at $12 for 6 months with 1,000 images and Premium at $22 for 12 months with 2,000 images. Paid plans use priority speed and allow 16x.
