Afforai is an AI research assistant that rebranded to Logically in March 2025; the old domain now redirects to logically.app. It helps researchers, students and professionals search, summarize and organize sources with verifiable citations.
You add papers and files to your library, then chat with them, ask for summaries or search across sources, and receive answers with citations you can verify. The writer and Word add-in insert citations while you draft. The Free plan uses standard models with daily limits.
It is used by researchers, students and professionals who want citation-first AI support. Eligible students can get 50% off the first year of the annual Unlimited plan.
Per third-party listings (not confirmed on the vendor page here): Free includes 5 AI autosuggestions, chat messages and commands per day, 100MB storage and a 25MB or 200-page limit per file. Unlimited is $30 per user per month billed monthly or $12 per user per month billed yearly.
